What A Scene is an absurdist immersive theater experience where attendees meander through the rooms of a domestic space as they find actors performing. The scenes repeat on loop as the audience wanders into other rooms, encountering other scenes or re-immersing into one of their favorites. 

What A Scene was conceived by Katrina Sorrentino and Gabi Woods and had two in person runs at a historic brownstone in Brooklyn. It has since completed two seasons on Zoom via breakout rooms. What A Scene’s believes in nourishing an intentional family of actors who actively support one another and elevating one another’s talents by creating our own opportunities to deliver content that challenges ourselves as well as the systems we aim to see dismantled. Where we’re going: Develop our own platform replete with content that is decolonized, diverse and equitable.
